Last Minute Camping

It's been rainy and cool here for last couple of days, very rare here at this time of year. Our friend from homeschool group, Marilee, asked if we wanted to an overnight camping trip in Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument before it got hot again. Well, it's probably last time to go camping anywhere within 120 miles and not be miserably hot for quite some time, so we went. It was fun.

Our Sedona Trip

Well after months of obsessively putting in gardens, I decided it was time for a vacation...to Oak Creek Canyon just North of Sedona. We rested, hiked, played in the water and generally had a wonderful time.

One day we did drive to the West Fork of Oak Creek to hike and explore and play. I only wish I had brought a lunch so we could have stayed longer.
