Learning By Dressing-Up

Jasmine likes historical fiction and I've been reading a lot to her lately (e.g. American Girl series, Girls of Many Lands series, Royal Diaries series). Often she will dress up in as close to the style of the book I'm reading to her as she can. Right now, we are in the middle of Little House in the Highlands (a fictional account of Laura Ingalls Wilder's great-grandmother who lived in Scotland) by Melissa Wiley (who has a great homeschool blog).

A friend did a photo shoot of her during the Josefina (American Girl series) period.

A favorite Christmas present from Grandma--dress up cloths.
